Lotuscolor provides digital ink-jet prints of the highest quality. In order to do this we have devoted ourselves to researching and product testing in this rapidly developing new field.

Paper alone is an entire subject. There is always a new paper to try. Manufacturers are always attempting to produce new papers that show more realistic colors, are more durable and reflect esthetic consideration of surface. We don’t just take their word for it. We buy, print on and torture these papers before we offer them to you. We keep a comprehensive selection on hand at all times, ranging from photo- base to fine art watercolor. Not all paper come in all of our print sizes and not all papers work with all ink.

We will send samples of our current papers, but be sure to discuss your needs so we can recommend the right paper.

Inks, of course, are the same story. New and better inks are always being produced, which we also have to test. Because inks have strength in certain applications there is no single best ink set. We therefore use a variety of ink.

A relatively new development that we are especially excited about providing is our Quad-tone carbon black and white printing. Instead of using color ink, this process uses ink of different shades of gray, producing incredibly beautiful black and white prints.
