Art Reproduction
We are proud to announce the opening of “Vinehaus Studio” with an all inclusive “Soup to Nuts” service. This service provides artists with an opportunity to produce high quality reproductions of their original art. We will for the special price of $125:
- Take a picture of your flat art work
- provide you with a high quality 4 x 5 color transparency
- Drum scan this transparency & provide you with a CD
- And finally give you a 13" x 19" proof
Camera work alone: 4x5 transparency, per set up: $35
With this service we complete a full circle of: Art work into digitized image into fine art reproduction prints.
We will, of course, provide all or any part of this process. For example if you already have a large format transparency or a high quality digital file, we can just make you a scan or print or we can just do the camera work & transparencies alone.
This printing that we do is generally referred to by Art galleries & Museums as Giclée.
With this revolutionary method of producing limited edition fine art prints, an artist getting a digital print is not required to pay for the tradition extensive, expensive print runs, but can produce their prints one at a time as needed.
* a first print is one without color correction. Additional printing follows our standard pricing schedule. It typically takes 2 or 3 rounds of printing to a print exactly the way you want it.
